URIAS GETS 2ND TERM AS COUNTY JUDGE, RODRIGUEZ AND ALVARADO FACE RUNOFF IN MAY 27 ELECTION

County Judge Carlos won re-election on Tuesday, beating his opponent, Lyndon McDonald by 99 votes. Incumbent Adrian Norman also won his bid for re-election, edging out his opponent, Fermin Baeza. However, the race for Commissioner, Precinct 2 will go to a run-off election on May 27. None of the four candidates managed to receive the threshold 50-percent needed to avoid a run-off.
