State Bar of Texas honors Judge Roy Ferguson

Roy Ferguson, 394th Judicial District Court Judge, whose district includes Brewster, Presidio, Jeff Davis, Culberson, and Hudspeth Counties, received multiple honors from the State Bar of Texas this summer.

At the State Bar Annual Meeting in June, Judge Ferguson received a commendation from the General Practice, Solo and Small Firm Section of the State Bar, for his many years of “unmatched dedication, service, and enthusiasm.”

He was also designated Judicial Liaison to the Section – the first person to ever receive this honor.

And last week, Judge Ferguson was admitted to the College of the State Bar of Texas. The College of the State Bar is an honorary society of lawyers who are among the best-trained attorneys in Texas, and show dedication to both high ethical standards and improved training for all Texas attorneys.
