Eagles get first baseball win over Midland Trinity

The Eagles started off the season with a 9-0 win over Midland Trinity. The Eagles played a good game defensively and made some great plays when it mattered the most.

Luis Urias got his first win of the season throwing three shut out innings followed by Fabian Baeza with three scoreless innings of his own and a save by Sammy Quintana.
The Eagles got the bats going with doubles by Jeremy Virdell and Luis Escajeda.

The boys will travel to Monahans to compete in the Sandhills Classic. The Eagles will begin pool play at 9 a.m. Friday against Lamesa.
