The Texas Mountain Trail Region board recently named Wendy Little to the position of executive director. The heritage region is part of the Texas Historical Commission’s (THC) Texas Heritage Trails Program, the nationally recognized regional tourism initiative that helps Texas communities promote tourism, revitalize local economies, and foster community leadership through historic preservation.
Little will serve as the program’s contact, and will assist regional travelers, partners, residents, and businesses with heritage tourism development and promotion under the direction of the Mountain Trail Region Board of Directors.
Little recently worked as marketing director for the Boerne Convention & Visitors Bureau overseeing advertising, maintaining the CVB website and social media sites, and providing graphic design for all advertising and collateral materials.
