Editor’s note: This feature is dedicated to profiling Van Horn High School Alumni and updating locals on what became of them after graduation. The Advocate welcomes information for publication on VHHS Alumni and will try to highlight two Van Horn Eagles every week.
Tracie Michelle Martin studied with the Class of “86”. She has three grown children, Robbye, Jimmy and Justin, as well as two grandchildren, Jimma and Jaxon, ages 6 and 5. Her studies after High School primarily focused on Real Estate and Insurance, while obtaining Texas State Licensing in both. After a fifteen-year career in Real Estate and Insurance sales, Tracie is an Insurance Agent/Consultant in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, with a strong focus on consulting and “start-up” for new offices, and/or division expansion for existing offices. While residing in the DFW suburb of Weatherford, she and her life partner of 10 years, remain very involved in the DFW-LGBT community, at large. Her plans for the future include the hopes of owning her own Insurance Agency, and be more involved with charitable organizations for homelessness and less fortunate kiddos in the LBGT community, and abroad.
