Andrea Navarrette Colmenero

Andrea N. Colmenero, 83 of Sierra Blanca, Texas returned to heaven on Monday, October 31, 2016 in El Paso, Texas surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Colmenero was born to Benjamin Navarrette and Pilar Juarez on November 30, 1962. She was involved in the Altar Society and an avid member of Our Lady of Miracles Catholic Church.  She married  Manuel S. Colmenero on June 26, 1962 in Sierra Blanca, Texas at Our Lady of Miracles Catholic Church. Her usual occupation before retiring was a Sales Clerk.

Funeral Services were held Friday, November 4, 2016 at Our Lady of Miracles in Sierra Blanca from 4:00pm-9:00pm at Our Lady of Miracles with holy Rosary being recited at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass was held Saturday at 10:00am, November  5, 2016 at the Church officiated by Father Antonio with burial immediately following at Sierra Blanca Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Fort Stockton, Texas. Serving as Pallbearers were Peter Bustamante, Charles Ross, Anthony Bustamante, Rafael Perez, Hignon Salinas Jr., Abel Ramirez, Hector Franco and Roger Franco. Honorary Pallbearers were Ramon Bustamante, Brad Colmenero, Noah Easton and Anna Ross.

She is survived by her Husband, Manuel S. Colmenero, daughters, Elsa Colmenero, Delma Colmenero and Velia Colmenero Ross, sisters, Deli Gerard Navarrette, Antonia Negrette and Paula Perez. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Mrs. Colmenero was a very loving and caring wife, mother and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Andrea will be greatly missed by all who loved and cared for her.

Mrs. Colmenero is preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Pilar Navarrette, sister, Socorro Hernandez and a niece, Evangeliana P. Tarango.

Luis Armando Lopez

Luis Armando Lopez, 21, of Van Horn, died on Saturday, October 29, 2016 in El Paso, Texas.

Luis was born June 26, 1995 in El Paso, Texas and was a lifelong resident of Van Horn.  He worked as a tire technician for his own business A&L Tire Service in Van Horn and graduated from Van Horn High School in 2013.  He was a member of the Catholic Faith.  In Luis spear time, he enjoyed riding motorcycles with his family and friends, as well as cheering on The Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs.  He also enjoyed listening to country music.

He is survived by his two daughters, Audrina Sophia Lopez and Leilah Melanie Lopez; his mother Marie Teresa Lopez; one sister, Elizabeth Lopez and her fiancé Rebecca Spells all of Van Horn; three uncles, Cornelio Garabay and wife Carmen of Van Horn; Chomeno Ramirez and wife Barbara and Phil Ramirez and wife Anabel all of Odessa; three aunts, Carmen Dowing and husband John, Martha Corrales and Jesusita Corrales and husband Manuel all of Van Horn; his cousin, Abby Ramirez as well as many extend family members and beloved friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel.  Rosary was recited on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.  Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, November 4, 2016 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Father Antonio Martinez officiating.  Burial followed at Van Horn Cemetery.

Those honoring the memory of Luis by severing as pallbearers were:  Micheal Garabay, Alex Ortega, Iaasac Ortega, Alex Corrales, Larry Joe Brown, Diff Torrez, Carlos Tarango, John Downing, Ryan Brown and David Corrales.

Luis will be remembered as being a loving father, son, brother, nephew, cousin and cherished friend.  He touched the hearts of many.

Salvador Corrales Tarango

Salvador C.  Tarango, 73, of Van Horn was called to Heaven on October 25, 2016 in El Paso, Texas. Mr. Tarango was born to Marcos Tarango and Marsela Corrales on April 18, 1943 in Mexico. Mr. Tarango was self-employed Contractor.

Services for Mr. Tarango were viewing,  Thursday, October 27, 2016 with a Prayer Service, 7:00pm at the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Funeral Service was held on Friday, October 28, 2016, 10:00am  at the Church, with burial following at Van Horn Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Fort Stockton, Texas.

Mr. Tarango is survived by his loving wife Ramona Cabezuela Tarango of Van Horn, his sons, Eddie Tarango, Salvador Tarango, Jr., David Tarango, Oscar Tarango, daughters, Marcella Tarango, Gracie De La O, Irma Alvarez, sister, Enedina Flores. He was Blessed with 22 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Mr. Tarango was preceded in death by his parents, Marcos and Marsela Tarango.
