Herlinda Carrasco of Odessa passed away Friday July 14, in Odessa at the age of 91 years. Herlinda was born on September 26, 1925, to Cruz Tarango and Gumecinda Barragan in Valentine.
Her life was enriched by the time she gave to her brothers and sister. Herlinda was a kind and sweet aunt to many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She spent many days working and caring for many family members. Many will remember her as a beautiful and kind woman. She left many memories with her family and friends.
Herlinda is survived by her numerous nieces and nephews.
Herlinda is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Antonio Carrasco; her brothers, Enrique Tarango, Eduardo Tarango; and her sister, Enedina Tarango Olivas.
Visitation was on Monday, July 17, from at Heritage Funeral Home in Van Horn. Funeral service was on Tuesday, July 18, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Valentine. Burial followed at Evergreen Cemetery in Valentine.
